Happy Halloween - Sweet or Sour?

Halloween is less celebrated in Germany, but children are starting to go out in search of candy. Here they say something that translates to sweet or sour instead of trick or treat. I spent Halloween at a fabulous costume party at my friend Marcus's house. He is the super hero in the image above. It was his birthday and he had dancing, drinks, a dj, bonfire and more! He even had a heated tree house where people could sing karaoke. But careful! No more than five in the tree house at a time! He had special things set aside for designated drivers and offered his house as a place to spend the night. The teens here are incredibly responsible with alcohol. Buit I missed carving pumpkins, corn mazes and candied apples. Oh, but we had lots of sweet and sour dishes!
