About 40 inbound rotary students gathered in Berlin for the weekend. There were about 11 of us from the states – including one guy from Colorado who was dubbed “Mr. Colorado.” (Yes – I was Mrs. Colorado!!) There were also groups from Canada (including “Mr. Camp Counselor” and “Mom”), a lost soul from Japan, my roomie from Indonesia, and a party group from South America and Mexico (including my travel partner Fredrico). We stayed at a hostel in Berlin.
We toured the sites of Berlin, had a party at a disco, played games and managed to get extremely lost on the trains in Berlin. Left two hours early and arrived back to my host home just on time! I came home and crashed for about 7 hours before skyping with my family.
We’ll be going as a group to tour Paris in November.
